Making Sense of over 300 hours of tape spanning half the globe and over 5 months filming was always going to be a challenge. Meet Richard – series producer, writer and editor.
A seasoned film maker and traveller, Rich is passionate about storytelling and occasionally even gets to leave the edit suit for the open road himself – his most recent filming challenge has taken him across Outer Mongolia with Director/Cameraman Adam Giles.
Adam is renowned for adventure travel filmmaking. His work has taken him across the globe from the Australian outback to Outer Mongolia via Bavaria and of course from Alaska to Patagonia on the Trans American Highway. If there’s a piece of the action, then Adam's in the thick of it - camera rolling! A non-biker before The Ride, Adam has since taken to two wheels himself.
As well as the National Geographic Channel, Adam has also shot and directed films for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
